Anjuna Beach
Anjuna Beach has always been among the most loved beaches in Goa, India. The beach was the unofficial headquarters for hippies in the sixties and seventies. The hippies have long since left, but the beach has retained the festive atmosphere as well as the love of life. Anjuna offers a huge number of sights as well as activities for tourists. The nightlife scene here is simply one of the best in the whole of Goa.
Anjuna is one of Goa’s most beautiful beaches. The beach here is one that has plenty of character, with red laterite cliffs on the side, and pristine white sands and the waters here with a turquoise tint. The setting offers a huge assortment of possibilities.
Anjuna is home to numerous places to enjoy oneself. The huge number of nightclubs, bars, pubs, discos and more has excellent ambience and cuisine. The goan sea food items are famous with tourists here.
The Wednesday flea markets are excellent opportunities for shopoholics to get their fix. These markets stock probably everything from under the sun.
