The Vanuatu Island, officially the Republic of Vanuatu or the Republic de Vanuatu as it is called in French is an archipelago, a land that originated from volcano, in the South Pacific Ocean. This island nation is about 500 kilometers north east of New Caledonia.
This Nation Island was first inhabited by the Melanesian people. In the late 18th century, Europeans began settling here, followed by France in 1880s and the United Kingdom, claiming parts of this nation island of Vanuatu. They agreed on a joint framework in 1906 for managing the archipelago. After the struggle for independence that sparked off in the 1970s, the Island gained freedom and was declared a republic in 1980 and hence became the Republic de Vanuatu.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities is popularly known as the Egyptian Museum is located in the Cairo city in Egypt. The museum has a huge collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. There are around 120,000 items in the museum, a huge number of articles are kept on the display and the remaining articles are kept in the storerooms.
Around 27 royal mummies are stored in the museum’s Royal mummy Room. The mummies belong to the paranoiac times. In the year 1981 the museum’s Royal mummy Room was been closed down on the orders of the then President Anwar Sadat. The display was opened again in 1985 but the number of mummies was reduced. Today there are nearly 9 mummies that are kept in the display. The mummy of Queen Hatsheput which was newly discovered is also a part of this exhibition.

Kaziranga National Park (area: 378 square kilometres) is a World Heritage Site located in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam in north-eastern India. The location on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot, the park has high biodiversity. The kaziranga area has four main administrative ranges, namely, Burapahar, Baguri, Central and Eastern. Famous for its one-horned Rhinoceros, the park was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006 and is also an Important Bird Area. The park was established in 1905 and has served as the subject of major books and documentaries. The park is reputed for its wildlife reservations in India. The wildlife wing of the forest department of the state government of Assam looks after the management of Kaziranga.
